2025/2026 SOAC In-House Soccer

SOAC Soccer is excited to continue its partnership with NYCFC (New York City Football Club) Youth Programs to run the training for our in-house program for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 season for all age groups kindergarten and up. We will still need volunteer coaches, so please help out.

Our PreK program will be run by our local SOAC coaches on the fields behind TJES.

In-house soccer is for children from age 4 to 15. The program is designed for kids to have while learning the game of soccer. We don't keep score, there are no standings, and we emphasize the fun of the game. We encourage parents to root on not only their children, but applaud good plays, regardless of where the play occurs.

Fall season runs September-November and Spring season runs from April-June. PreK-3rd grade practices/plays on Saturdays at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. 4th Grade 5th/6th Grade and 7th-9th Grade play 'Limited Distance Travel', joining the recreation program of Mahopac, and Yorktown. Games are on Saturdays but there may be a chance for make-up games during the week or on Sundays. Tentative schedule below:

In-house at TJES

PreK - 8:30am-9:30 am or 9:30am-10:30am (10:30am-11:30am will run if first two sessions fill up)

Boys K/1 - 8:30am-9:45am

Girls K/1 -10:00am-11:15am

Girls 2/3 - 10:00-11:15am (THIS IS A NEW TIME)

Boys 2/3 - 11:30pm-12:45pm

Limited Distance Travel

Boys and Girls 4th grade, 5th/6th grade and 7th/8th/9th grade - final schedules will be determined a few weeks before season starts. All games will be played Saturdays with possible make-ups on Sundays They will have a practice one night per week at TJ or Granite Knolls on Monday evening.

You will need to buy a soccer ball, shin guards and cleats. Size 3 ball for pre-k through 1st grade, size 4 ball for 2nd thru 5th grade, size 5 ball for 6th grade & up.
