Boys Lacrosse - Overview

SOAC Boys’ Lacrosse is a recreation based program that serves the Lakeland School District Community and emphasizes sportsmanship, camaraderie, and work ethic through our various programs run throughout the year. We focus on the development of all players as both athletes and students with a focus on providing tools and skills they will need in the future.

2026 Spring Boys Lacrosse

Happy almost Spring!

We are happy to announce that registration for the Shrub Oak Athletic Club 2026 Boys Lacrosse Season is OPEN!

Eligibility: Boys in Kindergarten through 8^th Grade
Registration dates: January 20, 2026 – Feb 21, 2026
Season dates: Week of April 7 – May 31. Likely no practices/games on holidays (Easter, Spring Recess, Memorial Day, Mother’s Day). Specific dates vary by grade level, per the details below. Team Practices might start in Late March - TBD

Schedule Overview

We are working out details for field allocations with Lakeland Central School District, dates and times are subject to change based on availability. We will provide additional details once available.

Kindergarten:

Overview: Stick only clinics
Clinics: Sundays at 8.30am at Walter Panas High School (April 12, 18, 26; May 9 (Saturday), 17) Potential for 1 additional clinic date between 5/17-5/31.
Games: No games against other districts

1-2 Grade:

Overview: Full equipment required. Games played against other programs
Practices: Sunday Mornings at Walter Panas High School; Thursday at 6pm (Field TBD)
Games: To be set at the divisional level; details to be shared once finalized

3-4 Grade:

Overview: Full equipment required. Games played against other programs
Practices: 2-3 days a week at Walter Panas High School/Van Cort Elementary School
Combination of Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
Games: To be set at the divisional level; details to be shared once finalized

5-6 Grade:

Overview: Full equipment required. Games played against other programs
Practices: 2-3 days a week at Walter Panas High School
Combination of Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
Games: To be set at the divisional level; details to be shared once finalized

7-8 Grade:

Overview: Full equipment required. Games played against other programs
Practices: 2-3 days a week at Walter Panas High School
Combination of Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
Games: To be set at the divisional level; details to be shared once finalized

*Please remember you must be a current US Lacrosse member to register for the 2026 SOAC Boys Spring Lacrosse season. If you already registered with US Lacrosse, you can use your existing number.

**As of July 2025 USA Lacrosse requires age verification into their system.
