Tryouts for the Fall 2023 SOAC Travel Soccer teams are now scheduled For May 1 to May 6, 2023!  All Teams for players born in years 2010-2015 will take place that week. If your child has a 2016 birthday, they will be allowed to tryout for a 2015 team.  2009 and older will tryout after HS season.

If you are a recreation player considering travel, SOAC Travel soccer increases training time to two days a week, with competitive games on Sundays in the fall and spring in the Westchester Youth Soccer League, spanning from Manhattan to all of Westchester County.   Home games take place at Granite Knolls, Legacy Woodlands, and older teams Lakeland High School.

There is one exciting change for 2023/2024.  Each team will be assigned a professional trainer at least once a week.  We will be using both our pool of private professional trainers and our relationship with NYCFC Youth to give our players the 'extra voice' needed to help improve skills and play.  With this change, a raise in referee fees in 2023/2024, and the price of field rentals, we are increasing the rates for registration to 600 dollars.  That can be paid in 3 installments between May and the end of August.  You will not be charged until you have been assigned a team and accepted the position.  For returning players, there will be no uniform change this year.

Current players playing 'up'  (2015 player on a 2014 team, for example), can either tryout for their current teams, or their natural age group.  ALL current players must re-register for tryouts.

Tryout times are as follows.  if there are teams in your age group, you can try out for either team.
