Travel baseball is a great opportunity for players and families to experience a more competitive game of baseball and a greater understanding of teamwork and commitment. It requires a great amount of skill and time.

There is a significant difference in the competition level between recreation baseball and travel ball.

There is a lot of time dedicated to helping your child further develop into a well rounded ball player. Practices can run twice a week during the summer. There are also winter practices in our school gyms which also require a fee.

The season usually starts around the 3rd week of June and if your team makes the playoffs you will play into the second week of August. There are 3 games per week and traveling is a big part of the commitment. Games can be played from as far as the Bronx , Rockland Co., Dutchess Co., and Danbury Conn.

Playing travel baseball may cost upwards of $300 per player. The cost covers uniforms, umpire fees, town fees, and baseballs.

*Travel try-outs are usually held in the first couple of weeks in May.*
